Michelle is honored to offer the sacred ceremony of "Closing of the Bones" alongside Kate Strakosch, the owner of Intimacy Doula. They were trained in a Mexican midwife tradition of this ceremony and with deep gratitude and respect for their teachers and the lineage are ready to honor and respect every woman who is ready for this experience.
Together, Michelle and Kate are here to accompany a woman through times of deep transformation. This may include postpartum care, miscarriage, stillbirth, abortions, hormonal shifts, loss of a loved one, identity changes, spiritual awakenings and rebirths, physical or emotional traumas, and grief.
The Closing of the Bones is a four part ritual that includes storytelling and intention setting, bodywork with essential oils and massage, an herbal bath, foot soak, or yoni steam, and finally a gentle wrapping of the bones with rebozos.
It is a ceremony of remembrance and reverence, of honor and care, a homecoming and integration of all that a woman has moved through. It's an invitation to be seen, heard, held, and healed.
